About Papa’s Trinkets

Papa’s Trinkets is a family-owned woodworking business built on craftsmanship, resilience, and a love for creating pieces that are meant to be used—not tucked away on a shelf.

After losing our mom, my dad and I were both searching for a new purpose. Together, we turned our shared love of woodworking into something that has become much more than a business. Every piece we create is made by hand in the mountains of North Carolina, where we spend countless hours transforming raw wood into functional works of art.

We specialize in handcrafted white oak whiskey cups, charred on the inside using traditional techniques to enhance the whiskey-drinking experience while showcasing the natural beauty of the wood. Every cup is individually turned on a lathe, hand-sanded, finished, and inspected before it ever reaches your hands. Many of our products can also be personalized with custom laser engraving, making them meaningful gifts that last for years.

Beyond our whiskey collection, we also create one-of-a-kind wooden bowls, whiskey smokers, decanters, shot glasses, and other handcrafted pieces. No two items are exactly alike because no two pieces of wood are ever the same. The grain, color, and character of each piece tell their own story, and we believe those natural imperfections are what make handmade products so special.
